2011 MCCC GPS Logs

Each plane on the contest has an onboard “Skytrace” GPS receiver which logs position and altitude data once per second. After the flight, the GPS data are downloaded and analyzed by the full-size scoring software Winscore.

The IGC files for download in this page are text files identified by team numbers. They are available to anyone who wants to use Winscore or any other soaring software. Clicking on any team number downloads the file; save it as an "IGC" file (save with a .igc extension).

The KML files are zip files to play back in Google Earth.
